DOECHII: LIVE from the SWAMP Tour (Tampa, FL)

Since December, 2024, when DOECHII appeared on ‘The Colbert Show’, I started stalking LiveNation and TicketMaster, waiting to see when she would go on Tour. So Needless to say, I was excited when I received notification late September (2025) announcing her “LIVE from the SWAMP” Tour. THEN, I was Super Syked when I seen she would be in her hometown of Tampa, Florida, in October. What a Perfect Birthday gift for my daughter, whose Birthday is October, 19th. And she ALSO, lives in Tampa!

After work on, Thursday, October, 24th 2025, at 11:30pm, I started my journey to The Sunshine State. First, I headed to NYC. I arrived around 6am Friday and then took the F-train to Queens (Jackson Hts-Roosevelt Ave) and at 7:15am, I got on the FREE shuttle bus to LaGuardia (LGA). I got to Terminal B, breezed through TSA, (I also Thanked them for being there because the Government was under a ShutDown and they weren’t being paid)… and waited for my 9:50am JETBLUE flight. Needless to say, I arrived safely a little after Noon.

Fast Forward to Saturday, Oct.25th 2025… My daughter and I arrived at Yuengling Centergrabbed some snacks and a (non-alcoholic) drink, then headed to our seats. This was the first time for me where a show that was suppose to start at 8pm,,, the performer didn’t come out until 10:01p. The way I was tired of just sitting there. The crowd, at one point even started doing the “Wave”. We were getting agitated and restless. This was the only downfall.

Shoutout to the fans, me and my daughter, included, who OvaStood the DOECHII STYLE GUIDE ASSIGNMENT! Her Fans showed up and showed TF OFF! From Hair, Make-Up, Nails, to Their/Our ‘Fits,,, we definitely looke’D TF GUUUUD!

Once DOECHII hit the stage, it was Up from there. Although we waited longer than she was on stage, and it seemed as if the ‘Opening act’, someone named, Kal Banx, was on stage longer than she was, from beginning to end, it was a good time. (and thats no’Shade to him because he was good.)

SHOWTIME… From my view, which was dead center and far, but close enough but also, Up close with a good Zoom, lol. I love to see a complete view of a concert so our seats were perfect. The lights got low, the stage looked as if it was split in half because a video began to play on the top portion but below were 2 SPEAKERS and a TURNTABLE in between them. There was also a Slide on the side that was used as a prop. We started screaming at the top of our lungs with excitement. On the video, Doechii is walking towards us, then she’s in a classroom with ‘Students’, writing on the chalkboard, LIVE FROM THE SWAMP!

Video images are flashing of a classroom, to her lips, to her in front of a Spotlight, to her crawling seductively on a desk. Then next thing you know a bright light shines and a desk strolls out below from the TURNTABLE, which opened in the middle, with her standing on it. As it begins to stop, DOECHII sits and starts reciting “STANKA POOH”. I jittered in my seat with Fandom. WATCH HERE: DOECHII: LIVE FROM THE SWAMP Opening

The video is still above Doechii while flashing videos of her as she’s interacting with it somehow. At some point the desk starts moving and she goes into “BULLFROG”, at the same time dancing on the desk. Teasing us. The desk stops. A tall mic on a pole is rolled out to her as she stands up on top of the desk, as NAS’, “WHO’S WORLD IS THIS”, is playing. She lets her hair down from the clip that was holding it up. DOECHII yells, “TAMPA MUTHAFUCKIN FLOR’IDA” and asked us how we were doing. The crowd went wild.

We were her students and she made sure to introduce us to one last classmate; her DJ, Miss Milan. We screamed at the top of our lungs as the Turntable portion of the stage opened up again to reveal DJ Miss Milan. Then we all went in to join DOECHII in “BOILED PEANUTS”. They both gave an Amazing performance together. I loved when they did “DENIAL IS A RIVER”. When they did this single, DJ Miss Milan and DOECHII started at the top of the SPEAKER/TURNTABLE and then parted ways as DOECHII then slid down the slide as they somehow reunited in front of the stage without missing a beat! Dopeness!

What is a Concert without bringing fans onto the stage?! Of course she had audience members come out. There was a part where the fans are sitting at desks as she walked over them going in to “CRAZY”. She even had a man at a single desk that rolled while she gave him a ‘DeskDance’ = LapDance but on the desk. I was intrigued.

It was also cool that students from the High School (Howard W. Blake, HS), she attended were there in the audience. They were Deep, too. It’s always good to motivate those who follow your footsteps to show WHAT and WHO they can become.

This was my 1st concert in Florida and I’m happy the venue wasn’t a huge one. The fans felt like family. We all sang together. Did two-steps and rode the Flow DOECHII brought. If I ever see her again, it will have to be her with someone else on the tour, if I’m being honest. Although she gave a fantastic show, it wasn’t enough to want to see her again however I would recommend you seeing her at least once for the experience.

Another plus to mention: I had spent a few coins between traveling and the tickets and had set aside money for us to get snacks and drinks but the concession stand prices didn’t rob me like other Stadiums and Arenas I’ve been to. So, I was able to also purchase us Tour T-shirts. This was my 1st time. I usually get the bootlegs outside the show for the low, Ssshhh.
