Some people don’t know but along with all the other things I do, I’m also a Licensed Bartender and I have been doing it on the side for about 4yrs now. I love it. It’s a cool way to meet people since I Talk so much (*They call me TalkingTye*) and make a lot of extra money on the side doing something I enjoy: Drinking. Responsibly, of course.

I have worked at a few bars around NYC and I’ve worked with a catering company (PRESTIGE in Queens Village, NY) doing events. I’ve even been hired by friends to bartend their parties, which is always a Good Time! Since I’m totally confused on what season we are in, Thanx to Mother Nature and her Weather-Mood Swings, I figured I’d share one of my ANYTIME drinks. Its a simple cocktail I make that takes time to prepare it just right. Some things are Extra but it works for ME aka YOU AINT GOTTA LIKE IT! lol. This is a drink I prepare when I foresee the long week ahead and I know it will be refreshing to indulge after I punch out and start my 2-days off. Which for me, doesn’t always include Saturday and Sunday.

DISCLAIMER TO MY (MANLY) MEN: Sorry, Its a Female-style Cocktail but you may still enjoy it, Alone, due to the presentation being a bit Girly so having it around Ya’Boys, may raise questions. However, on the flip side, you can gain points with the woman/women in your life, especially those of you who are trying to empress them. (Whether your wife, to keep the fire burning on a romantic night, to the lady you have a 1st date with or 1st time you invite her to your home, Or even that Homegirl you’re tryna keep happy just on GP, Ha)

The only way to describe my flow on my preparation is, I Rock However the ‘SPIRIT’ Moves Me! (You see what I did there?!… SPIRIT = Vodka, Gin, Whiskey, Rum, Tequila… hhahaha)

Anyway, Here we go! PURPLE PASSION PINEAPPLE COCKTAILS

*This is best done with some Dope HIPHOP or R&B pumping in the background. Most times I’m jammin’ to Mary J. Blige, or Marsha Ambrosius, ATCQ, Fresh Radio or a Fresh ass Mix from one of my DJs. (@DJAktive, @DJScratch, @KoolDJRedAlert, @EboniATL, @DJBigWill757, @DJJSlide, @DJSpinbad, MacheteDMV, @DJLethalLes, @DJJayski, @DJJaycee313,,, just to name a few)*

PURPLE PASSION PINEAPPLES COCKTAILS:

Start off with the Following:

(1) 2Quart bowl w/lid

(2) cans of Pineapples *1-Chunks 1-Slices* (Dole)

750ML Bottle of Red Moscato (Barefoot)

750ML Bottle of Pineapple Vodka (New Amsterdam)

1 shot oof Blue Curacao

*WHEN THE BOWL IS NEW, I RUN IT UNDER HOT WATER FOR 5 MINUTES TO STERILIZE IT. DRAIN DRY*

*THIS IS A 3 DAY PREP BEFORE YOU CAN MAKE 1ST GLASS*

First, start off by pouring a glass of the Red Moscato because, SHYT!,,,WHY NOT!
Next, carefully open cans of pineapples. Pour them both in the bowl. You can add pineapple juice from both cans but I only pour in 1 can of juice. *Its up to you how pineapple’ly you want the flavor.
Next, add the remainder of Red Moscato to bowl
Then add 6oz of Pineapple Vodka to bowl
Add a shot of Blue curacao to bowl
light stir and Cover bowl. Put in the freezer and freeze for 24hrs

*REMOVE FROM FREEZER AFTER 24HRS AND PLACE IN REFRIGERATOR TO THAW OUT AND CHILL FOR 24HRS*

*By Day 3 you are ready to serve up a drink*

You have a few ways to serve/enjoy. Either way, it will be a thirst quenching drink.

Feel free to simply eat the chunks or slices alone.
One way to serve is by adding either chunks or slices in a glass and adding a 1/2 can of Sprite. THAT IS ALL!
Another way is by adding chucks or slices in a glass. Add more Vodka and Sprite. (*add according to your liking*)
You can also add pineapples in a glass and add Red Moscato, Vodka & Pineapple juice from the bowl (*Sprite can be added* OPTIONAL)
